Privacy Policy

StrikeGEX ("we", "us") operates strikegex.com, a market-data analytics service for options traders. This policy describes what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run a subscription service — your email, a hashed password, billing status from our payment processors, and basic usage analytics. We do not sell personal data, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we store your email address and a salted, one-way hash of your password. We never store your password in readable form.
Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe and Whop. Your card number goes directly to them and never touches our servers. We receive and store your subscription status and basic transaction metadata (plan, dates, amounts) so we know what you've paid for.
Usage analytics. We run first-party analytics: pages visited on our site, referrer, and campaign parameters (UTM tags). Our servers also keep standard request logs (IP address, browser user-agent, timestamps) for security and debugging.
Email list. If you opt in to our daily email, we store your address and opt-in status. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link that works without logging in. Delivery and open/click events are processed by Resend, our email provider.

What we do NOT collect or do

We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
We do not run third-party advertising networks or cross-site tracking pixels.
We do not collect brokerage credentials or place trades for you. StrikeGEX displays market data and analytics only.
Our social-media apps (for example, the Facebook app that posts to our own Facebook Page) publish our content to our own accounts. They do not read, collect, or store personal data from your social-media profile.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. That's it. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Service providers

We share data only with the processors needed to run the service, each under their own privacy policy: Stripe and Whop (payments and membership), Resend (email delivery), Railway (hosting), and Google Fonts (font delivery — your browser requests fonts from Google's servers, which discloses your IP address to Google). Market-data vendors that power our analytics receive no personal data about you.

Data retention

We keep account data for as long as your account exists. Server logs and analytics are kept for operational purposes and periodically rotated. If you unsubscribe from email, we keep your address on a suppression list so we don't email you again.

Data deletion

How to delete your data

Email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my data". We will delete your account record, email-list entry, and associated personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax, billing-dispute, or legal-compliance reasons (those are held by our payment processors under their policies).

This mailbox also serves as the data-deletion contact for any StrikeGEX social-media app (including our Facebook/Meta app). Those apps store no end-user personal data, so in most cases there is nothing to delete — but we will confirm either way.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (see above) at any time by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR or California under CCPA), these rights may be backed by statute; we honor them for everyone regardless of location.

Children

StrikeGEX is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will update this page and the effective date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
